COA & Lab Testing
Every lot of every peptide we sell is independently tested by a third-party analytical laboratory before it reaches your bench. Certificates of Analysis (COAs) are available on request for any order.
Standard for our catalog: ≥ 99.0% purity by HPLC · molecular weight verified by mass spectrometry · endotoxin tested · sterility & appearance inspected.
What we test
| Assay | Method | Acceptance criteria |
|---|---|---|
| Purity | RP-HPLC at 220 nm | ≥ 99.0% area |
| Identity | ESI-MS / MALDI-TOF | Theoretical MW ± 1 Da |
| Water content | Karl Fischer | ≤ 8% |
| Acetate content | Ion chromatography | Reported, ≤ 15% |
| Endotoxin | LAL gel-clot | < 5 EU/mg |
| Appearance | Visual inspection | White lyophilized cake, intact |
How to request a COA
- Find your order number (in your confirmation email).
- Email sales@corepeptides.com with the subject line "COA request — <order #>".
- We reply within 1 business day with a PDF COA for the exact lot you received.
What's on a COA
- Compound name, CAS / sequence, lot number, manufacture & retest dates
- HPLC chromatogram with annotated main peak and impurity profile
- Mass spec spectrum with calculated vs. observed mass
- Endotoxin, water, and acetate result tables
- Analyst signature, lab accreditation number, report ID
Independent verification
You're encouraged to verify any lot in your own lab. We've never had a customer-side analysis disagree with a published COA by more than 0.5% area on HPLC. If you ever do see a discrepancy, send us your data and we'll investigate, replace, or refund — your choice.
Lot traceability
Lot numbers are stamped on every vial and tracked back through cold-chain custody to the synthesis batch. We retain reference samples of every production lot for 24 months.
Research Use Only. COAs document chemical identity and purity for laboratory use. They are not a clearance for human use, medical, or veterinary application.
